King's Point Hotel and Water Park

Sophia wasn't always real sure about the swimming. She couldn't get enough of the slide though.

Look at those cute skinny legs.

We spent one night in Storm Lake, Iowa at King's Island Water park. You get four passes for the water park for the day of check in and check out. So we got to swim two days there (one day at a hotel in Carroll, Iowa the first night as well). This was great fun. We went out for pizza at a great pizza placed called honey kissed pizza. The crust is a wheat crust and brushed with honey. Warren and I got a canadien bacon, pineapple, crispy bacon and blue cheese pizza (yum) and the girls got a cheeseburger pizza (complete with catsup, mustard, pickles, and onion).

One more Okoboji/Arnold's Park

Yes, Daddy was there too.
Ella jumping on the trampoline. Sophia did it too, but I didn't get pictures of her because she and daddy snuck away from us for a little bit. :p
What would a day at the amusement park be without ice cream? We had biked into town, and it was getting late in the afternoon, so daddy biked Chloe and Sophia back and Ella and I hung out and did more rides together. Warren ended up having a tire blow out on his bike and walking it with the trailer with Chloe and Sophia in it back to the car. He got two new bike tires though. :)

Arnold's Park II

Ella and Sophia both loved the kiddie roller coaster. They went on it again and again. There were no lines, so they could keep riding as many times as they wanted. I think they went like four times in a row and then went back later for another two turns.

Sophia wasn't big enough to go on the swings, so she took a boat ride while Ella was on the swings.
Ella kept shouthing "Woo hoo! I am flying!"
Watching her sisters tired Chloe out.

Okoboji: Arnold's Park I

At Lake Okoboji, there was a kiddie amusement park in Arnold's Park. It was only $14/day for both girls to ride all the rides all day long. Sophia wasn't big enough for all of them, but most of them. She couldn't do the swings, the log ride, or the bumper cars. But, Ella did, and she loved them all.

Okoboji: Pirate's Cove Mini Golf

We tried the miniature golf thing with the girls. Warren and I had a lot of fun. (We actually tied.
) Ella and Sophia tried at first, then Ella got frustrated and quit and Sophia just got bored. At least we didn't have to pay for them anyway. :)

Vacation: Lake Okoboji, Iowa Camping

After two days in Lake City, we headed north to Lake Okoboji area. We got a great campsite at Emmerson Bay State Park. The best part was it was only $11/night! It was right near the lake. there were not a lot of mosquitoes, and We didn't get rained on. Thank you God!!!! These pics are from our site.

Rodeo Days Parade

Waiting for Candy. Ella kept yelling out "I'm waving. I'm waving." and Sophia kept saying "More canny pease."

Jumping with excitement.

At the rodeo with our friends the Batz's and some other friends of Warren's from high school.

Warren's reunion was a fun trip. It was nice to meet some of his friends and see some of them that I already knew. It was fun hearing stories too. :) We got rained on a little at the end of the family picnic and during the rodeo, but just briefly. It was still pretty fun.
