Update on the Graham fam

So, I haven't blogged for quite a while. I was trying to decide if I should try to start where I left off and do Ella's birthday, our trips this summer, and any other things we have done since May. Since it is almost October, I am thinking it would be best to take it from here. So, for those of you who haven't given up on me....

In a nutshell:

Warren is working hard and working a lot. On the plus side of that, he has a job, is secure in his job, and just got a promotion.
I am doing my student teaching at Random Lake Middle school through November 6th and at the elementary school from November 9th through January 22nd.

Ella is now in first grade and loving it. She is getting better at reading and also seems to do well at math. She still loves to draw and write stories.
Sophia is in the Early childhood peer program four half days per week. She is doing well and having a lot of fun. She loves snack, stories, and painting. She is finally catching on to the counting thing and learning her shapes.
Chloe is almost two and stays at home with our wonderful friend and babysitter, Girlie. Chloe is changing so much. She is turning into a big girl. She is talking more and we are able to understand more of her words.

Girlie is a blessing from God. She is great with the girls and helps out around the house when she can.

We have other wonderful friends helping us out when they can as well with things like picking up the girls from school, feeding us, and just lending a hand when it is needed. It is a really busy and crazy time and I am so thankful for these people that God has put in our lives!
Thanks so much to all of you who love us. We love you all too!!!!

Climbing trees at Asbury Park

More April pics

Sophia always asks for my crumbs. She makes sure to get every last one.

Feeding the ducks in the marina is a favorite past time. (Chloe often thinks the bread is for her - this time she accidently got a leaf as well. Yuck!)

I think this is a snow goose....

At the "Fishy Park"

First s'mores of the season. Sophia is not sure about the sticky mess on her hands, but she loves the chocolate.

Sophia and her friends

I have been watching Sophia's two little friends the last two days and they are all so cute together. I just had to take and post some pics.

Something's Missing...

What is missing from this picture? There it is! Ella's first lost tooth!

Just like daddy.

Next day.... out came tooth number two. (It was crazy hair day at school today. Hence the crazy hairdo. )

Up a Tree

Warren taught Ella and Sophia how to climb trees.

Chloe really "looks up" to her sisters.

Asian night

One night when Warren was working late a couple of weeks ago, the girls and I had rice and eggrolls for supper. They enjoyed sitting on the floor and trying to eat using chopsticks. The were not big fans of the eggrolls.

Sophia's First Hair Cut: February 16, 2009

Sophia and her friend Ashlee had a spa day together and got their hair cut. Sophia just got a little trim and a style. This first picture is the before picture.
