Disney World

Warren's mom let us use her timeshare in Orlando as our Christmas gift this year. What an awesome gift! Thank you Evelyn! We had a blast. The girls absoltuley loved Disney and meeting the princesses. We had a great time swimming and enjoying the Florida sunshine. It was tough to come back to 40 below windchill. brrrrrr

On our way down to Florida for our vacation away from the cold we stopped in Valdosta, Georgia to stay with some old (not elderly) friends for a day. It was great to see Ben and Tracy and thier new little grandaughter, Poppy. They are such wonderful people and great hosts. Thank you Ben and Tracy for your southern hospitality. We love y'all!

...and the stockings were hung by the chimney with care....

So, one of my many Christmas projects this year was making stockings for the girls. I think they turned out pretty well. I also made bead ornaments and blankets and slippers socks. It was a lot of work, but fun.

The perfect tree...

We went to the tree farm and cut down a tree again this year. It was bitter cold, snowy, and windy, but we got a beautiful tree and had some family fun as well. As is our tradition, we went to Random Lake Pizzaria afterwards and ate pizza and played darts. So, here are a few pics.
