The Little MermaidElla drew this picture of the little mermaid.She and flounder are swimming in the waves. She has scales on her green tail and she has a pink bra. She also has red hair and blue eyes. Eric is on his boat and he has brown hair and blue eyes. There are fireworks in the sky. She did all of this by memory from the movie. I think she did such a great job. She was so proud of herself.

I studied how children develop in their art when I was doing my undergrad. I'm very impressed. I love seeing those little developmental things - the details that kids put in their pictures that they remember are important to telling the story of their drawings. It's amazing! Great job, Ella!
