It is certain

I had another ultrasound today. It was a pleasant surprise that they had a new machine. So, got very clear views and pics. It is definately without a doubt a girl. We got a view as though we were holding up her legs to change a diaper. In the above picture she was sucking on her hand. We could see her little mouth moving too.
She even gave us a big smile in this picture. I know the shadow on her left eye makes her look a little like a pirate, but she is a happy pirate. Arrr! Everything looked perfect and amazing. She looks to be just slightly over average in size.

Ella and Sophie were along and it was fun to have Ella be able to see the baby inside. I could tell it was a little surreal for her, but she definately thought it was pretty cool.

So, the next thing is names. Here a few we've been thinking of (in no particular order). Have fun and cast a vote.

It's a..............

So, I had my 20-week (actually 21-weeks) ultrasound yesterday. My sister Holly just got in town Tuesday and was able to come along. So, she and Warren got to see the baby too. They did not have their new machine yet, however I think we got some pretty good peeks. Doctor Lipinski said that everything looks great. The baby looks to be developing perfectly at this point. We did choose to learn the sex if we were able to. The baby was not cooperating very well as it was in a breech position (same thing happened with both Ella and Sophia). I kept thinking I was seeing girl parts and then Doctor Lipinski said that she didn't know for sure, but she had a pretty good idea. When we asked her what she thought, she said "girl". It turns out that Holly and Warren both thought that they were seeing girl parts too. So, we are not positive, but it looks like we will have another girl. Dr. Lipinski said that she would try to get me in again at my next visit and see if we can take another look. She wants to take a better look at shere the cord connects to the baby's tummy too. She couldn't get a good view this time.

Dear Lord, thank you sooooo soooo much for a healthy looking baby and a good ultrasound. Whatever the gender may be, we are just so thankful for this new life forming inside of me!
